TRACK 11 ON JAY Z REASONABLE DOUBT ALBUM FULL
Jay z best brooklyn rapper Comment by Tyrrell ParryĪbsolutely no words to explain this album, had it when I was like 5 or 6 year old and was raised on this music and jungle classics, this shit bangs different and u cant even call the shit that people these days call "RAP" music Comment by Buhduzit With this album, he made east coast history, and came out in a year full of heavy-weight releases that are great, such as 2Pacs All Eyez On Me, The Score by The Fugees, Outkasts ATLiens, but none of them beat Reasonable Doubt. Or try out the Unplugged album by Jay-Z with The Roots.Genre Hip-hop & Rap Comment by User 828337587 That is a timeless record and that making of video is also terrific. The best album by Jay-Z from an artistic point of view is The Black album. But 10 years later it just doesn't sound that great anymore - at least to me. III so appealing - an armada of the hottest rappers out there great samples and hot beats, witty rhymes and a killer flow. Those albums established them as artists - when they recorded their follow up records they took whatever producers were HOT atm teamed up with guests, that were popular and rapped about what was going on that year. But you will get the best impression of their personality on the debuts - be it Illmatic, Doggystlye, Enter The 36 chambers or Reasonable Doubt. What sounded fresh back then might sound lame or played out today - so I agree that most debut albums qualify for the artists best, even if that is not true. The styles and sounds in Hip Hop changed so rapidly in the 90ies - you know immediately from which time frame these records are - so i doubt that anyone would be as overwhelmed or thrilled listening to Blueprint for the very first time today. One thing i notice with many Rap albums is they date so quick.

It is free online, if anyone else wants to generate waveforms off their CD.) It has Rock-A-Fella Records and Priority Records' logos and addresses. My disc is from BMG Music Club, so no UPC number. I have the 1998 version on CD (has bonus track, "Can I Live II"). Priority Records was bought by EMI in the mid-1990s. Today, Rock-A-Fella has become part of Island Def Jam, under Universal Music Group. Rock-A-Fella Records started (with "Reasonable Doubt" its first album) as an indie distributed through Priority Records, also indie. The various reissues may not be for new mastering, but come out of changes in label ownership and distribution. The peak levels do not inspire confidence this was well-mastered and no engineer is credited. Click to expand.UPC number is 0 4992505922 9 and the catalog number is P2 50592.
